I am a Tokyo-based photographer specializing in family, kids, and travel photography.
I focus on capturing natural, emotional, and storytelling moments during your trip in Japan - the laughter between a couple under the cherry blossoms, the wonder in a child's eyes, the quiet magic of Tokyo's streets.
Even if you are not used to photoshoots, I will guide you gently so you can relax and enjoy the experience. No stiff poses - just real moments, beautifully captured.
For communication, I use simple English and translation tools. If needed, I may also bring an assistant to support smooth communication during the session.

Showa Memorial Park - My Main Location
A vast and beautiful national park in western Tokyo. Known for its expansive flower fields, open green spaces, and seasonal scenery - my personal favorite and the location I know best. Perfect for families, kids, and couples year-round.
Tokyo Station Area
The iconic red-brick facade of Tokyo Station and the surrounding Marunouchi district offer a sophisticated urban backdrop. The bright natural light during the day brings out the beauty of the architecture, perfect for clean and timeless portraits.
Asakusa
Tokyo's most traditional and culturally rich district. Historic streets, the iconic Senso-ji Temple, and the vibrant Nakamise shopping street create a wonderfully authentic Japanese backdrop.

A note about communication
I speak very limited English, and I want to be upfront about that. To make sure we can communicate clearly and you feel comfortable throughout the session, I plan to bring an English-speaking assistant to every shoot as a standard part of my service.
For pre-session planning (date, location, style), I use translation tools and simple written messages. On the day, the assistant will be there to help in person - so please don't worry. You'll be well taken care of.

What if it rains on the day of the shoot?
Light rain sessions are absolutely possible - umbrellas can even add a beautiful element to photos! If the weather becomes too severe, you can cancel free of charge. The decision will be made by the photographer based on conditions.
How will I receive my photos?
You will receive access to a private online album, usually within 3 - 4 weeks after the shoot. All edited photos will be available in high resolution, ready to print or share.
What if we are late to the session?
Don't stress - Tokyo traffic happens! If you are late, the shooting time may be shortened accordingly. However, if you are more than 30 minutes late without prior notice, the session may be canceled without a refund. Please let me know in advance if you're running behind.
How many people can join the session?
Up to 6 people are included in the standard pricing. If your group is larger, an additional fee may apply. Please mention the number of people when making your inquiry so I can plan accordingly.
What should we wear for the photoshoot?
I generally recommend soft, neutral, or complementary colors that feel natural and timeless. Avoid overly busy patterns. I'll share more specific tips during the planning stage based on your chosen location and style.
Do you offer sessions outside Tokyo?
Primarily I work in the greater Tokyo area. Sessions outside this region may be possible depending on the location and schedule - an additional transportation fee would apply. Please feel free to inquire!
